We introduce Fukuvi’s anti-reflective film with a high anti-reflective effect, superior abrasion resistance and moisture resistance, the film is made of a low refractive index layer with a refractive index of less than 1.48 and a thickness of 50-200 nm, this low refractive index layer has an average grain diameter of 10-150 nm and a refractive index of 1.44 or less the silica sol has an average grain diameter of 5-110 nm and a refractive index of 1.44-1.50, containing a silane coupling compound, a metal chelate compound with the ratio of the total amount being 30 parts by weight or less with respect to the total amount of the low refractive index layer. The main principle is based on destructive interaction of light waves in the multiple layers to produce the effect of Anti-reflection, Fukuvi has developed superior performance films that are ideal for automotive applications, the product is an anti-reflective plate for which this anti-reflective film is applied on a transparent resin substrate.

In many manufacturing assembly materials’ surface modification steps have increased in criticality. Whether in Automotive, Medical Device, Electronics, Packaging, a clean surface and a strong, long lasting bond are integral to achieving a quality product. In order to obtain a permanent adhesion of the glue, the sealant, the ink, the coating etc it is essential to clean and activate the material surface. Still today in the majority of functions the pre-treatment of the bond line or coated area occurs by means of solvent based chemical primers and activators, which promote high emission of VOCs. The Plasmatreat process offers a better alternative as the whole wet-chemical pretreatment will be substituted by the Openair®-PlasmaPlus® polymerisation system. Plasma rotation or straight jets will achieve a micro fine cleaning and functionalization of the surface. In some cases, for certain applications, a dry PlasmaPlus® coating is added, in line, to achieve a modification of the surface properties, an even stronger tie layer. Finally, the adhesive can be applied to finish the process. These patented processes can reduce costs because it requires far less material to create the ultra-thin bond-coating and the fully automated process eliminates labor costs.
